I gave up after the first half hour, during which not even a smile, much less a laugh, came over me. I was beginning to get embarrassed for the performers. Were we watching the same show? SNL has pretty much sucked for a decade now.

What purpose does Nasim Pedrad have on SNL? She makes a cameo in the airline sketch (which I overall enjoyed); Is this what is to expect from her the whole season; she will be doing us a favor by leaving the show. I though the episode was fine; there were a few great sketches and SNL should stay away from political cold openings for future shows.

Frankly, that was one of the worst shows ever and very sorry but I have to disagree with – “If the show ends with these two “Hermes Handbags” ladies every week” and if this is the case, I won’t be back. Considering they had all Summer to prepare for the majority of the non-timely sketches, this was incredibly weak. Aaron Paul was initially the one saving grace, Girls Spoof OK and Arcade Fire Or New Cast Member good, and other than those, the entire show was a sleep fest. I can almost envision the Charles Rocket year all over again. I agree with Bb, the joy came from the credits and my suffering was over.

Actually really enjoyed the new cast members. Especially Kyle, Beck, and Noel. Started the season off on a decent foot.
