I would actually really like to see a prequel of sorts… a little of the past of dexter, as he was a child, as he was learning the code, etc.
The main events could also have Hannah find out that Dexter is alive, and she is looking for him… maybe over time some Dexters ex- Co workers think that he is alive… maybe also go searching for him…
Something to bring Hannah and Dexter closer over time- they really loved eachother…

Quinn and Batista were both equally great in the end. With Mathews and Masuka, there are enough great characters for a spin off. Writers could easily come up with enough crime stories to make for a series. I would like to see a true crime series, e.g. Joseph Wambaugh.

Hannah’s life will also be very interesting with her relationship with Harrison and knack for getting into and out of trouble.
