‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers: More Cristina – Owen questions (photo)

When you consider the news that Sandra Oh is leaving “Grey’s Anatomy” at the end of season 10, isn’t it easier to get a little bit choked-up emotionally whenever you see photos of her on the show? We admit that this increases yet another level when you are talking about photos featuring her character of Cristina along with Kevin McKidd’s Owen Hunt.

The image that we’ve attached here is from “Everbody’s Crying Mercy,” which is the third episode of the season airing on Thursday, October 3. What are the two talking about? It appears to at least be some sort of important conversation. These two have become both a much-loved and also tragic couple; even though they clearly have feelings for each other they are just not compatible since they want something so different with the rest of their lives.

So what will happen next for them? Eventually, something will seemingly happen to Cristina to make her want to move on, given that creator Shonda Rhimes has already said that she has no intention of killing the character off at the very end of her run. As for Owen, the journey will suddenly be all about finding a way to get exactly what he wants out of his life moving forward. It would only be natural for him to feel emotional about losing Cristina for a while, but sooner or later, we do want him to move on and find happiness. It seems wrong to punish him forever for making some mistakes in his life.
