Well after the first few episodes I was briefly disappointed, cause it wasn’t at all like the book. However, the more I thought about it, I realized I needed to view the book & the series as two separate beings:o) They are both awesome! Although I have to say that the ending of the book was really bad in my opinion:o/ But, I am never disappointed with any of King’s work, and as a whole I loved the book! I’m already anxious for next summer to come….minus the heat would be nice though. In my opinion I believe King & Spielberg knew exactly what they were doing when they deviated from the book. They had to make the series different from the book in order to keep the “reader” captivated. Well played guys! I was totally captivated! Have a great winter everyone! :o)

I am a huge fan of Stephen king,and read the book already and seen a bunch of his movies,and after watching this first season of under the dome I wasn’t disappointed,its like it came right from the book,can’t wait until season two,and if you are a fan of king,and seen the shining,watch out for the sequel sleeping doctor in book,o yeah
