Johnny Fairplay in Pearl Islands (about 28 at the time) was barely over half the age of Lillian Morris (who was 50), yet Lillian naively believed what Fairplay sold her. I don’t think it matters if someone is 21 or 51, if Marissa has seen enough of the show, she’ll be aware that there will be people trying to mislead others.
