We have some interesting news coming out about the future of “Survivor,” and it certainly does make you want to speculate what exactly is going on here.
Reality Blurred is reporting that rather than operating under their usual production schedule (which typically films from June until September), the show is going to push forward and film its 25th and 26th seasons during the months of March, April, May, and June.
So what’s the reason for this? Ultimately, it’s hard to know for sure, but we may chalk it up to Jeff Probst’s hopes to get a daytime talk show off the ground for next fall. With the show’s ratings slowly dropping, we also have to consider the possibility that these could be the final two seasons of the show — which is what we’ve been worrying about for about three years now. (If they plan it just right, maybe one of them will be a sort of “ultimate all-stars.”)
No matter what happens, are you at least happy that there are some more seasons of the show planned?
