Critics are crazy about Brad Pitt’s new film ‘Moneyball’ and there has been a lot of Oscar buzz surrounding Brad for his performance in the film.
Pitt says that he’s not taking the Oscar talk too seriously and that he was just happy to have a chance to be part of the film. He said; “Oscar or no Oscar this movie remains a great piece of material for me. I think it’s just too early to talk about that kind of stuff. It’s all good fun if your number comes up but it is even more fun when a friend’s number comes up.”
Recently Pitt spoke to Parade Magazine and made some pretty startling comments about his past marriage to Jennifer Aniston, saying that his life with her wasn’t interesting and then went on to talk about how great his life with Angelina Jolie is now.
Aniston’s fans were outraged at Brad’s comments, and people started to speculate that his remarks might affect how people felt about ‘Moneyball.’ As it turns out even though it didn’t take the number one spot in the box office over the weekend (The Lion King grabbed the top spot) ‘Moneyball’ did very well and took home $20.6 million.
