Damian McGinty talks about his role on ‘Glee’

Damian loves being on Glee

After becoming co-champion on the hit reality show ‘The Glee Project’, fans of Damian McGinty have been wondering what his character’s story line will be on the third season of ‘Glee’.

McGinty has spilled a few details about on his role on the show and what will happened when his character of Rory, an Irish exchange student, arrives at McKinley High.  Damian revealed that there may be a rivalry between Rory and Chris Colfer’s character Kurt.  He said; “He does a falsetto in his first song and Kurt did not like that because Kurt’s the soprano of the group and doesn’t want that taken from him.”

Rory’s character will also spark some problems between Naya Rivera’s character of Santana and Heather Morris’ character Brittany.  Rory will be living with Brittany’s family and she believes that Rory is her “own personal leprechaun that only she can see.”  McGinty says that there is a “fun scene in Brittany’s bedroom,” which may incite some jealousy from Santana.  He said; “She [Santana] doesn’t like Rory because he also has a thing for Brittany.”

It sounds like Damian is getting along well with the regular cast of ‘Glee’ and he says; “I am having the time of my life.”

Damian won’t likely show up in ‘Glee’ until sometime in November, so  hopefully we’ll get a few more details about his character’s story line before then.
