Nathan Fillion joins all-star cast for ‘Justice League: Doom’

He’s back as the Green Lantern

Warner Home Video has assembled an all star cast to provide the voices for some of your favorite superheroes in their latest animated film ‘Justice League: Doom’.

‘Firefly’ star Nathan Fillion will be reprising his role as the Green Lantern, which he first played in ‘Green Lantern: Emerald Knights’.  Nathan will be joined by Tim Daley and Kevin Conroy will be voicing Superman and Batman again along with Michael Rosenbaum who will be voicing the Flash.  Alias star Carl Lumbly will be taking on the role of Martian Manhunter and Susan Eisenberg will lend her voice to Wonder Woman.

The character of Cyborg has not been seen in the Justice League before, but will be joining the group for the film and the character will be played by Bumper Robinson.

The story focuses on Batman and his backup plan to take out the other superheroes if they ever decide to turn to the dark side.  Things blow up in Batman’s face when his plans are stolen by a group of super villains who decide to use the plans themselves.

The trailer for the film will premiere at New York Comic Con on Friday October 14. ‘Justice League: Doom’ is set for release in early 2012 and will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, digital download and on-demand.
