‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: Michael Weatherly on Cote de Palbo, ‘breath mints,’ and more

More news -Let’s start this “NCIS” season 11 article off with a brief round of applause for Michael Weatherly. He did not have to share anything at all about the new episodes coming up, but he chose to take out some time anyway to do a brief Q&A with his fans on Twitter. We’re going to share some of the highlights below, along with a little bit of our own thoughts and analysis to go along with it.

On Tony / Ziva – There were of course plenty of questions about the Tiva relationship, and our favorite line was that “breath mints were had” when asked whether or not there would finally be a kiss. Take that as you will…

Also, he promised yet again that fans of the couple should not be disappointed, there is indeed “hope” for the couple, and that “in closing… I will miss cotes most of all.” There was also the tease to “invest in Kleenex,” which is probably a good idea for all of you Cote de Pablo fans. (At least Ziva won’t be killed off.)

On headslaps – If you dig these, don’t worry: You’re going to be rather happy this season. Some of the funnier moments on the show will not be forgotten.

On other character interactions – Weatherly says that he filmed a great scene between him and Mark Harmon this week, and that there will be more of the McGee / DiNozzo “bromance.” As for if we could see Tony’s dad back again, he echoed some of what has been reported recently: It could happen. He would like to see it, as would many others.

In summary, Weatherly’s chat was another reminder that there is a lot to look forward to this season if you like “NCIS,” even away from the Tiva storyline. Click here if you want to watch the extended trailer for this season yet again, even if it may make you tear up.
