Carrie Underwood, Tony Bennett perform duet on ‘Blue Bloods’

Carrie’s back on TV

Country singer Carrie Underwood has come a long way from her days on ‘American Idol’, but she has recently found her way back onto our television sets with a cameo on the show ‘Blue Bloods’.

Underwood recorded a beautiful cover of the classic song ‘It Had to Be You’ with crooner Tony Bennett for his newly released album ‘Tony Bennett’s Duets II’ and the duo had a chance to perform the song in one of the scenes for the hit cop show.

On ‘Blue Bloods’ Carrie and Tony take the stage to perform ‘It Had to Be You’ at a fabulous party thrown by the newly elected mayor of New York.

Bennett has recently been under fire after his controversial remarks on the Howard Stern radio show about the 9/11 tragedy, but he has since apologized.

‘Tony Bennett’s Duets II’ album featuring Carrie Underwood and the late Amy Winehouse is now available and you can grab a copy from or a record store near you.

Have you already picked up a copy of Duets II?  Are you still upset over what Tony said about 9/11 and will not be grabbing a copy of his CD?  Leave us a comment and tell us your plans for his album.
