‘True Blood’s’ Alexander Skarsgard talks about filming ‘Battleship’

Alexander is making more movies

Alexander Skarsgard’s career has been on fire lately with his hit HBO series ‘True Blood’ heating up and numerous upcoming films.

Skarsgard recently worked on the 1971 remake of ‘Straw Dogs’ staring James Marsden and Kate Bosworth that was directed by Rod Lurie and he is also slated to shoot three more films, ‘Disconnect’, ‘What Maisie Knew’ and ‘The East’ (rumored) for 2012.

The one film that Alexander’s fans are most excited about is his upcoming role as ‘Stone Hopper’ on the highly anticipated film ‘Battleship. Recently Skarsgard was speaking to MTV about the film and he said that while he hasn’t seen the trailer for the film yet, he had a blast shooting the flick.  He said; “No I had a great time on it. I haven’t seen [the trailer], but I had a blast. Peter Berg, the director, was amazing and I had really fun with the rest of the cast. And I had fun with the character, really enjoyed it. I haven’t seen it. I hadn’t done ADR yet so we’ll see what happens, but it was a good experience.”

‘Battleship’ opens everywhere May 18, 2012 and stars Alexander Skarsgard, Liam Neeson and Rihanna.
