‘Once Upon a Time in Wonderland’ spoilers: New footage of Naveen Andrews’ Jafar
While you may not know too much yet about the story for “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland,” save that it involves romance and ties together in some way to the original ABC series, the show is at least trying now to give us something a little bit more tangible, as well as something that many fans of “Lost” will be happy to see.
In the video below (which was first shared via Facebook), you can catch a brief glimpse at the interpretation that Naveen Andrews is bringing to the character of Jafar. It should already be more than clear to everyone that this is a very different sort of take on the character than was done in “Aladdin.” We’re sure that he is not going to all of a sudden be a good guy, but there will likely be a little more humanity / ambiguity injected into here, at least compared to the role that we have come to expect.
There is also a little clip at the end of the White Rabbit (voiced by John Lithgow), just in case you have not had much of an opportunity to see that already. What is somewhat interesting about this show right now is really how little is known not only about the story as a whole, but about the interpretation of the Wonderland world. While there have been small pieces of information that we have seen about it over the past couple of years from “Once Upon a Time” proper, this is really going to be one of the first opportunities that we have to dive in and really explore everything that is going on there.
Does watching this video make you even more excited about the story ahead? If so, you’re not alone! Just be sure to head on over to the link here if you want to read even more news about the show.
