I knew this was coming. I liked the show but this past season it seemed adrift with the marriage story arc. It was better when Jim was single.

This is a shame and reflects ignorance on A&E’s programming staff. To cancel The Glades at such an inappropriate time will only mean that viewers will not return on any future shows and hence a loss of revenue. I would expect that sponsors will be hesitant to invest in any A&E shows now on a go forward basis. Our family always looked forward to this show on Mondays nights
and from now on we will not be tuning in to any A&E
productions. . i

You have got to be kidding me. How can a show be left hanging like this? The Glades is a great summertime show that brought my attention to A&E. If this is the way you disappoint your viewers, I will not be investing my time on any other shows A&E airs in the future. Really unhappy with this poor decision.

I agree with Sheba. I really am going to reconsider watching anything on A&E from now on. Why commit to a series only to be left high & dry.

Thanks for leaving everyone hanging!!
This will make me reconsider watching any A&E programing, If they have so little consideration for the viewer that they could and (would apparently) cancel any series mid-stream.
Must be a pencil-I)ick making the decisions.

I really don’t understand your thinking! The Glades was one of the best shows A&E had on other than Longmire. If you were going to cancel this show you should have had a different ending than leaving us hang the way you did. It isn’t right that the network would do this to their fans. I will no longer watch A&E if they care this little about their faithful fans.

How can you have Jim shot and not wrap it up? this is so crazy. And to keep Bates Motel and cancel The Glades makes no sense. I am shocked and hope they change their mind.

I am so sorry to hear about the Glades. It’s one of my favorite programs. Has been since the beginning. Maybe they will change their mind but to let it go without wrapping it up is not right. Makes you want to not watch other shows on A&E even though Longmire is another favorite. How sad.
