Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber duet pushed by Scooter Braun

A Demi/Justin duet is still not happening

Even though Demi Lovato told Latina Magazine that she is not going a duet with pop singer Justin Bieber, that hasn’t stopped Scooter Braun from trying to make it happen.

Over the past few months rumors started circulating that Demi and Justin were going to be doing some sort of collaboration together, but Lovato recently put an end to the speculation and said straight out it’s not happening.  She said; “I don’t know where the Justin Bieber rumor got started, but that one is not true. As for doing a song with Selena. I would love to do one in the future!”

Now that Demi’s new album ‘Unbroken’ has hit music stores and is a massive success everyone wants a piece of Lovato, and at this point she really has her pick of the litter when it comes to duets.

Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun either didn’t read the article in Latina Magazine or he is just relentless in his pursuit to get his client on the Lovato bandwagon, because he tweeted Demi trying to push for that duet with Justin.  He said; “listening to this @ddlovato album now, so much emotion in the voice. well done! maybe there is a duet in here. #remix”.  Love it when there’s a compliment on your work with someone’s own agenda attached to it.

‘Unbroken’ has changed everything for Demi and she is no longer that cute pop Disney star, but a serious singer with some strong singing chops.  It’s unlikely that a duet with Justin is going to happen as it seems that Demi has completely moved out of the pop princess arena and is focusing on branching out into new genres of music.
