Those other shows OWN you for a good period of time afterwards (i.e. American Idol’s summer concert tour, etc.) Cami preferred to be free to do what she wants afterwards. She already has her own CD’s out there from before the show and has no reason to be locked into something over which she has very little control for the next year or so.
