‘True Blood’s’ Lindsay Pulsipher replaces Hilary Duff in ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ film

Lindsey is on board

‘True Blood’ star Lindsay Pulsipher is set to replace Hilary Duff as Bonnie in the upcoming film ‘The Story of Bonnie and Clyde’.

Duff was originally set to play the infamous bank robber, but when she became pregnant, the film had to replace her because of scheduling conflicts around her pregnancy.  Hilary was paid out for her contract with the studio and the producers went on the hunt for a new actress to take on the role of Bonnie for the film.

Production has finally found their Bonnie and its Lindsey Pulsipher.  Producer Tonya D. Holly said she couldn’t be more thrilled to have Lindsey on the cast and thinks Pulsipher will bring something special to the role.  Holly said; “We are thrilled to welcome Lindsay Pulsipher as Bonnie Parker in’ The Story of Bonnie and Clyde’. Lindsay will undoubtedly bring many layers to this critical role. This is a gripping story about two of the most legendary fugitives in history.”

Now we just have to wait to find out who they are going to cast in the role of Clyde!

Are you excited to see Lindsey making the jump from television to film?  Do you think she’ll make a good Bonnie?  Leave us a comment and tell us what you think.
