Mrs. Carter: Do you really need any other reason to laugh at the tabloids right now?
In the same week that a major gossip rag decided that they were going to put out a story that Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried were on the rocks, despite the recent star of “The Bachelorette” only just moving to Seattle, the two are pretty much showing their love for each other publicly in a new book called Diamonds and Hearts, which you can check out Kindle for over on Amazon. The book is mostly Chris-centric, but it also teases on the front cover that there are some compositions from Desiree that are also included in there.
Rather than trying to explain the book ourselves, why not let the official description from the site do so instead? Check it out below:
“Diamonds and Hearts – A Poetic Memoir is the highly anticipated poetry book by Chris Siegfried. With the encouragement from his family and new fiancé, Desiree Hartsock, he decided it was time to open his heart to the world.
“Diamonds and Hearts is your inside look into the heart of Chris as he pushed through professional baseball and through his recent journey to find love on national television. Each poem not only has a written synopsis explaining where Chris’ heart was at the time of writing, but also has the original piece from his journal!”
From a marketing perspective, the timing is certainly right for Chris to release it, and poem composition is a pain-staking process to make sure you have every word how you want it. The sad news is that poetry is a dying art, and as much as the team here gave him grief for his frequent poetry on the show (even though we have a published poet working on the site), it’s still nice to see someone keeping it alive and putting it out there for all to see.
