Mrs. Carter: Taylor Armstrong’s story is another step closer to having a happy ending.
At this point a couple of years ago, it was hard to ultimately imagine the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star ending up on her way to becoming a wife again, but here we are. The Russell Armstrong suicide was one of the most shocking things to ever happen in the world of reality TV, and seeing that unfold over the course of an otherwise-lighthearted reality show was jarring and even at times uncomfortable. But over time, Taylor managed to get her life moving in a positive direction, and it has all culminated now in her and lawyer John Bluher becoming engaged on Thursday.
E! News was the first to report that the two parties had their romantic proposal take place on Thursday, at the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort in Mexico. Ari Soffer helped to design with Bluher the gold-and-diamond ring, which Taylor is surely more than thrilled about to have.
Now, of course comes all of the reality TV questions that come with such an event. Will the two get their own Bravo spin-off now? We can only hope not, given that there are plenty of other ways in which to film your wedding that do not involve in any way having to deal with the drama of your co-stars around or other people angling for air time. After seeing some of the past few play out, we really don’t believe that the world really wants any more of these wedding spin offs.
But for now, massive congratulations go out to Taylor, and here’s to hoping for a happy engagement, because she really deserves this happiness after such a difficult time. If you want to read some more news related to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” just be sure to click here.
