‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ stars Teresa and Joe Giudice had been dealing with some heavy financial problems after the market tanked a few years back and they had to file for bankruptcy, but now it looks like Joe has withdrawn his bankruptcy filing and the couple are going to tackle their debts head on.
In 2009 Joe and Teresa filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy citing $11 million in debt and it was said that Joe was allegedly hiding his assets from the court. Apparently Judge Morris Stern signed off on a settlement between Joe and the trustee, John Sywilok, but the agreement between Joe and John does not include Teresa who is still dealing with her own financial issues.
Back in 2010 Teresa said that the family was “staying positive is the only thing that I could do” when it came to their financial troubles. She also said; “I have moral support; I have my daughters and my husband. As long as we’re in good health, that’s all we can do. I think this kind of situation is all over the world.”
