“Grey’s Anatomy” has just lifted the veil on their first teaser video for season 10, but we have to start things off by saying this: If you were hoping for some sort of elaborate take on what could be coming up next for the ABC drama, you are probably going to think of this as some sort of cause for major disappointment.
Instead, what we have here is a simple reminder that there was quite a storm that rolled through Seattle at the end of last season, and it was a bad one that left a trail of turmoil in its path. We have Arizona and Callie seemingly on the verge of falling apart after the former’s infidelity, we have Chief Webber electrocuted and laying on the ground, and we have Meredith having to adjust to being a mom the second time over.
The worst part of this teaser? The part that says that the storm is “not over” … though this could be a metaphor for the emotional storm that these characters are going through just as much as some of the physical pain that they are suffering from.
The hidden subtext of this and probably every other “Grey’s Anatomy” teaser that we are probably going to be seeing over the next few months is really simple: Are we going to find out why Cristina Yang will be leaving the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital? While there are 24 episodes to prepare for Sandra Oh’s exit from the show, that may still not be enough time for some fans.
Overall, what’s your verdict on the first “Grey’s Anatomy” teaser: Yay, or nay? As always, we want to hear some of your thoughts below, and be sure to also click here to see the major casting news announced regarding a star of “Dexter.”
