David Arquette and Courteney Cox may not be a couple anymore, but that didn’t stop her from attending the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ premiere with their daughter Coco to cheer David on as he took the dance floor with his partner Kym Johnson.
David performed a Viennese waltz as his first dance to Queen’s hit ‘Somebody to Love’ and received an 18 out of 30 from the judges, much to the delight of Courteney and Coco.
Arquette was ecstatic to have Courteney and Coco front and center in the audience as his cheerleaders, and spoke fondly of his daughter, saying;” It’s just so beautiful to see her and she’s the light of my life and I’m just happy she’s here and I love her so much.”
When David was first asked to go on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ it was his daughter Coco that gave him the approval to go on the show. He said when he asked Coco, she said; “Initially, my feeling is no, but let me go to school and talk about this with my friend Ashley.” After Ashley said yes, then Coco also gave her approval and David went for it.
Courteney and David announced their separation in October of 2010, but have not made any plans to go forward with a divorce. Could this be what the couple needs to reconnect with one another? Stay tuned!
