Mrs. Carter: The move is finally complete.
To think, it was just eight days ago when nobody assumed that Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried were going to be engaged on “The Bachelorette,” let alone her moving to Seattle and starting a new life together. It’s a big change for a woman that called Los Angeles her home for a very long time, but it is one that she embraced with open arms just so that she could start a new life with the man that she feels is perfectly right for her. Now, she just has to prepare for the next part of it: Getting an opportunity to really settle in to her new surroundings.
In a post on her Twitter account, Desiree wrote that even though she is now in the new city, she is still very much in the process of making it feel like her new and permanent home:
“Good Morning! Not bad waking up to a beautiful sunny day in a new place. #unpack #Seattle #coffeebreak”
The one thing that Desiree definitely has going for her in this city is that there’s going to be plenty of options for that coffee break, given that Seattle is pretty much the drink’s official capital. The other opportunities that come in Seattle include some more chances to expand her own design business in a place where she will not have to compete against thousands of other folks with similar celebrity titles, and also a chance to get out of the limelight rather than continue to have cameras around her at every turn.
Desiree and Chris had an extra bonding experience courtesy of the road trip that they took in order to get her up to the city, and the two thankfully appear to be very much in love. You have to be in order to be willing to relocate your life, after all and we definitely know something about that.
