‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson is tired of being a vampire heartthrob and wants to take on the role of a villain in the future.
A source said that Pattinson is eager to drop his heartthrob status and show that he can cover a large range of characters and that he has diversity as an actor. The insider said;
“Robert is excited about moving on to other more diverse roles after ‘Twilight’ and playing a villain is very appealing to him. One character he is fascinated with would see him playing a [villain] while there are others for villainous characters in major Hollywood blockbusters as well as an indy movie. Robert wants to show he has range to his acting and doesn’t want to be typecast as the hero or heartthrob.”
Recently reports are trying to say that Pattinson “dissed” the ‘Twilight’ films before they were filmed by calling the project “a vampire thing”, and while we’re not exactly sure how that is a diss of any sort it hasn’t stopped the reports from twisting what he said into something negative. Actress Natalia Tena, who co-stars with Pattinson in the upcoming film ‘Bel Ami’ explained the situation. She said;
“We had this summer of being really close. I remember Robert taking me out a few months later. He was like, ‘I’m just saying goodbye because I’m going to America for a few months to do some vampire thing.”
Do you think that this is really some sort of diss or is this just the kooky way that Robert speaks? Leave us a comment and tell us what you think.
