‘Real Housewives of New York’ four cast members fired

Four are being fired

The hit reality show ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ has a pretty large cast compared to some of the other ‘Real Housewives’ series, but it sounds like the producers are going to be cutting four of the seven cast members from the show.

The four housewives that are apparently being axed from the show are Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Alex McCord, Cindy Barshop and Jill Zarin.  A source says that Zarin is being fired because they “are sick of her being a diva”.

Zarin, Bensimon and McCord were notified by Bravo on Thursday morning that they will not be returning to the show as part of the full time cast next season.  This will only leave LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer as the main cast and LuAnn has said that three new ladies have already been added to the show.

Ramona is still in contract negotiations with Bravo, but an insider says “If they can’t agree, she will be off the show as well.”  The source says that Singer has been asking around trying to dig up salary info on other cast mates.

At this time no official statement has been released by Bravo, but we should hear something shortly.
