50 Cent wants to end starvation in Africa and he’s hoping to enlist some other famous musicians to help aid his cause.
The rapper has a line of energy drinks called ‘Street King’ and the money raised from the sale of the drinks will be going to help feed children in Africa. 50 Cent has claimed that the drinks have brought in enough money to feed 2.5 million children in Africa already, but he is hoping that if he can enlist the help of other celebrities to endorse the drink that he can feed 1 billion kids by 2016.
50 Cent explained that he wants to sell enough drinks to have 1 billion children fed by 2016. He said; “It sold out, the first 4,000 shipments in stores in like, 50 states, is sold out… and I was being conservative, because of the actual pre-orders, I was actually able to feed 2.5 million [on Wednesday] and I already have interest expressed by other a bunch of people like Usher, Justin Bieber, Lady GaGa, Drake… so we’re looking forward to building bigger and better things.”
It’s wonderful to see celebrities using their star power to help others, we love that.
