‘Burn Notice’ season 7, episode 7 preview: First look at ‘Psychological Warfare’

If Michael Westen is going to survive his latest predicament, it is starting to look more and more like he is going to have to use more than just his skills to kick a ridiculous amount of butt this season: He is also going to have to contend with everything that has happened within his past, and in his mind to conquer his opponents.

Within the first promo below for Thursday night’s “Burn Notice” episode “Psychological Warfare,” there is a pretty prime example of what we are talking about here. With his life on the line, he is going to be potentially forced to give up some valuable secrets. However, if he does so, there could be some pretty dire consequences … specifically in the form of what could happen to some of his friends.

“Michael finally meets with the head of the organization he’s been assigned to dismantle, but things get dicey when the leader drugs him at gunpoint in order to learn his deepest secrets. In danger of exposing his cover, Michael soon realizes that in order to protect his future… he’ll have to face his past first.”

Now that the gang is really starting to come back together again in a pretty substantial way we have to say that “Burn Notice” is once again hitting its stride. This is what we were hoping that some of these final episodes would feel like many weeks ago, as there is tension for all of these characters, hope that Michael is going to eventually find his freedom, and also fear that someone’s life could be in jeopardy well before the end.
