‘America’s Next Top Model: Guys vs. Girls’: Check out the first preview

We know what you may be sarcastically thinking, but yes, “America’s Next Top Model” is still in fact on the air. The one-time hit CW series actually filmed this “Guys vs. Girls” season many months ago, but we are now just getting close to the point where it is going to air on TV. This is a twist that the show should have really tried to pull off many cycles ago, given that male and female models competing against each other is different, and it marks a creative shot in the arm for a show that has been wheezing along over much of the past few years.

So what could we be looking to see specifically on the show this year? Well, the first preview below gives us a little bit of an idea.

1. Insufferable male contestants – If you thought that the women were arrogant and thought that they were the best-looking people to ever walk the face of the earth, you have not met the guys yet.

2. Extreme competitions – Of course, Tyra Banks is going to push these people to their limits by forcing them to do things that they certainly will not want to have anything to do with.

3. Romance? – Well, there will at least be some flirtation happening. This is what happens when you put a number of people obsessed about appearances into the same house. (Yes, we know that there are always a few people per season who aren’t like that, so we’re speaking to the majority.)

This new season will premiere on Friday August 2, and will run from there until The CW launches some other programming later on in the year for the fall.
