‘Covert Affairs’ season 4 spoilers: Show bosses talk early plans, changes, and more

Covert AffairsTuesday night looks to be a rather big one for USA. After several months off of the air, both “Covert Affairs” and “Suits” are going to be back with new episodes; and while we are going to see some things stay the same for the former show (including that there will still be missions, alliances, and plenty of intrigue), there are also going to be some pretty substantial changes.

What’s one of them? You likely know already about the new relationship that Annie and Auggie are striking up, and co-creator Chris Ord teases to The Hollywood Reporter that another big story that is going to be addressed on the show is the nature of secrets, and just what sort of weight that they have within this world:

“This season we really wanted to challenge our nuclear family, as they are our core characters, and nothing challenges [them] as much as having secrets. As you can see in the premiere episode, a number of secrets come out, even within the episode, and that is not even the extent of it. There is a lot that unfolds.”

Ord and fellow co-creator Matt Corman tease that by the end of the summer portion of this season, one of the biggest stunners that we will see is something that does potentially change the course of Annie’s entire career by great strides. There are also going to be some new faces, and a variety of different locations for the character to visit, including Columbia and Hong Kong.
