ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: Emily VanCamp and company versus ‘Sin’

One of the joys about a show like “Revenge” is getting the opportunity to dip into all sorts of controversial subject matters, whether it be loss, betrayal, anger, or sadness. Many a fictional work over the years has enjoyed having some fun at the expense of the Catholic Church, and it is starting to look almost like it will also happen here.

According to a report from SpoilerTV, a key episode of the show is going to carry with it the title of “Sin,” which certainly has a rather ominous feel to it. There are also going to be some interesting new characters that surface in this episode, including a man named Father Paul Whitely. What is his purpose? Apparently, he helped the Grayson family in their fight against David Clarke. (Why do all TV priests have to be working as a part of the dark side?)

By the end of this episode, all we can do is hope that Emily manages to unleash a little bit of holy war upon this establishment, and once again prove that she is a force to be reckoned with within this world. Given that she has already excelled time and time again when it comes to exhibiting what she is truly capable of, we have a feeling that this will not be much of a problem for her.
