If you have watched “Bachelor Pad” for any extensive time this season, then you already know that some sort of cease-fire from Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi was a long time coming. The two have feuded in the public eye for so long since their breakup that it ultimately has made both of them look terrible — and the only reason Jake seemingly went on this show was to try and repair his image to some degree.
So what happened? Likely after realizing how poorly they came across on TV, Vienna and Kasey Kahl both were apologetic to some degree — Vienna said that her feud with Jake was over, and then Jake offered to give her the most awkward hug of all time. Kasey, meanwhile, did not like the way in which he came across on TV.
Now, we can all breathe a little easier (that is, if we ever really cared that much). Michael Stagliano and Holly Durst (who is now engaged to Blake Julian) ended up winning, and Ben Flanjik is trotted out as the next “Bachelor.” Let’s just hope that his season ends up on a happier note than what happened to Jake.
