You have no counter argument, only your tainted opinion. The fact remains that Adam was voted in each night and yet was not played during any other time when it is the management that dictates what will be played. You are aware of that I presume. If you think there is such a concentration of Glamberts in the Chicago area then why were their requests for his music outside of those voting hours ignored. It’s easy for them to say no one requested his music when there are no means to dispute that. What the voting allowed was a viewable format to see how your requested song moved up the list into the top spot….no denying that. Not only will he be on Glee but something is in the works for him to front Queen again. As far as his acting skills..he’s been performing in music theater since age 10. Despite the fact that the musical “The 10 Commandments” flopped, he was the only cast member to receive positive reviews. So thanks for sharing your opinion, but I think I’ll keep my own.

Ah, yes, that time-honored argument. “My favorite artist would be huge if he wasn’t being held back by THE MAN!” A true classic.
How about this for a counter-argument: Lambert got the same chance at success as everyone else (actually more, he sang his songs on American Idol, which gave him massive exposure). His album didn’t take off because it didn’t connect with the general public. Those ‘vote your song’ polls, and online polls, are meaningless because they’re spammed by the same small group of Glamberts who spam everything (the radio stations and websites say thanks for the hits, btw – they’re using you to raise their advertising rates, but of course you knew that already).
And now Lambert’s on Glee. Good for him, at least it’s steady work and he’ll get to sing. His acting is sub-par, however. I hope he gets an acting coach.

I think he has done quite well with what he has to work with. Reviews of “Trespassing” were awesome, yet he received little to no radio play. The supposed reason was people were not requesting it. However, I live near Chicago and one of the stations had a “vote your song” to the top every week night from 8p-12m. Trespassing and others were voted to the top within the first hour and sometimes even a second time. I believe the big wigs at the stations intentionally withheld his music for whatever reason. So excited that he will now be on Glee.

So how come they didn’t buy his album? Geez, if even half of those ‘coupla billion’ folks had bought Trespassing, it would have sold a billion copies! Heck, if even a QUARTER of those people bought the album it would have boosted his worldwide total substantially. Why didn’t they buy the album if they love him so much? Do you know?

I like Adam fine – or, rather, I don’t DISlike him. I don’t think he’s a very smart businessman, however. Just wanted to clear that up.
