After Jon and Kate Gosselin divorced, things quickly unraveled for the family and they were both thrust into the spotlight with tabloids scrutinizing their every move.
While Kate continues to have her love/hate with the paparazzi, Jon on the other hand moved completely out of the spotlight, snagged an every day job as a computer engineer moving far away from reality television.
Now that ‘Kate Plus 8’ has been canceled, Kate is “freaking out” that she will not be able to provide for her children, even though at this point she should have more than enough money tucked away to provide for them for the rest of her life, that is of course if she didn’t blow it all.
Jon says that life goes on after the show and that reality television isn’t a “career” anyways, so she should look at getting a regular job like everyone else. He also notes that there are numerous families that have large families and that they find a way to make it work. Jon said;
“Things will work out the way they should work out. Obviously there are families out there that have several kids – people work normal jobs and things work out. Everything is possible. I don’t have a farm on 24 acres and the kids seem to have a great time at my house. I go to work every day and provide for my family. I spend time with my kids – spend time on the weekends. I spend time with the girlfriend I’ve had for over a year now. And enjoy a normal lifestyle.”
