Adam Lambert — airplay and location notes

What’s he up to?

So what is going on now in the world of Adam Lambert? Before we get into his rumored whereabouts for the time being, let’s kick things off with a brief update about the singer’s airplay.

According to the latest sales information via USA Today, “Whataya Want From Me” ended up bringing in 1,688 spins across all radio formats in the past week — a decrease of just three spins from the week before. (For those curious in other “American Idol“-related tracks, Kelly Clarkson’s “Mr. Know-It-All” is off to a fantastic start with 875 spins in the first week — and this is only going to increase moving forward.)

With that, let’s focus now on something many people have wondered as of late — what Adam is up to. The singer has been missing in action on Twitter for quite some time, but multiple sources have proclaimed that he has been taking in Burning Man in Nevada. As longtime fans know, this experience helped Adam to realize back in 2008 that he wanted to audition for “Idol” — and we all know how the rest of the story goes.

Hopefully, we’ll have more details in the future — but according to the Burning Man website, the event came to an end on Labor Day.
