‘Covert Affairs’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Homeland’ alum to come to someone’s defense

Covert AffairsOn the early seasons of “Homeland,” Roya Hammad was someone who was a particularly large thorn in the CIA’s side. While she pretended to be a reporter with major access to all sorts of key political figures, in reality she was a terrorist working under the umbrella of Abu Nazir.

Even though her character on Showtime is no more, actress Zuleikha Robinson still seems interested in keeping her time going playing characters within the world of Washington DC. According to multiple sources, Robin will guest-star on the fourth season of USA’s “Covert Affairs” (another series about the day-to-day operations of the CIA), where she will play a defense attorney who tries to come to the aid of Arthur.

In addition to appearing on “Homeland,” Robinson’s other major credits include spots on “Lost” and also HBO’s lofty series “Rome,” meaning that she has some experience in quite the gamut of dramas. This is her first major jaunt over to USA, and one that will hopefully reap big rewards for her.

As for “Covert Affairs” season 4, the series will return to USA on Tuesday, July 16 (the same night that “Suits” also comes back on the air) at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. One of the questions that is addressed very early on is what in the world happens with Annie and Auggie, and you are not going to be waiting very long to find out the state of their relationship. This show has become a tent-pole for USA, and we thus do not doubt that it will remain this way.

Robinson is not the only major guest-star joining the world of “Covert Affairs” this season. If you want to see what former NBC action star is also signing on, all you have to do is head on over to the link here.
