Madonna hasn’t released a new album since ‘Hard Candy’ in 2008, but the material girl has said that she has been back in the studio and is looking to release her next album some time in 2012.
Recently Madonna made the move back into the film industry, directing the movie ‘W.E.’ which premiered at the Venice film festival and received terrible reviews from critics. When she was asked if she felt discouraged by the harsh criticism she said;
“Well no it’s never discouraged me from continuing period, cause I think I’ve had a lot of harsh criticism my entire career.”
Although completely unrelated from the bad film reviews, Madonna did revealed that she will be moving back to music telling a Swedish television show that she has done a “little bit of work” in the recording studio on her next album. Madonna said that she will be working throughout the rest of the year in New York City to have it ready to hit store shelves next year.
When asked what we can expect this time from the singer that is always reinventing music, she said “more good music.”
Madonna is expecting her first single from the CD to be release in February or March while the rest of her album will come out in spring of 2012.
