‘American Idol’ contestant, Bucky Covington was charged with the theft of $1,500, but now those charges have been dropped and Bucky name been cleared of the crime.
Concert promoter William Fuller originally filed the complaint against Bucky when cash went missing at a concert in Florida.
Fuller says that he hired Bucky to do a show at Ormond Beach’s Iron Horse Saloon, but Fuller had to leave the event because of a medical emergency. William then claims that in his absence, Bucky and two others stole $1500 from the venues cash box.
After the complaint had been filed, the Florida State Attorney General started looking into the issue, but ended up ruling that “there was insufficient evidence to prove the charges against Mr Covington beyond a reasonable doubt at trial”.
