Elena’s story feels like it has to come to an end at some point… And I can see this point coming already to be honest!!!
Moreover, Caroline ( and maybe others, e.g. Stefan) could switch to TO after TVD ends … provided Candice is interested … and BOOM WE HAVE ANOTHER THRILLING AND INTRIGUING COUPLE AND STORY!!!! Klaus and Care are epic and their chemistry is magical… They have to be endgame and the story of the two of them should really carry on. Care is Klaus’ redemption. After 1000yrs he fell in love again with Care and it has to stay like that… otherwise they’re destroying his complex and beautiful character…. Cheers ^^

However the last thing you want is for beloved characters to lose quality. That’s what happens when shows last to long. There are shows like Dawson’s Creek that will be forever loved because they knew when to stop. Now with The Original spun off I think it may be time to except six seasons. We should love the cast enough to be fans in other work too. :)
