While the third season of “American Horror Story” (subtitled “Coven”) gets set to really push into high gear this summer, one of the actresses who played a key part in the season prior is confirming some pretty-big news within her household. In a statement posted on her official site, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, wife of course to famous actor Channing Tatum, announced (via what appears to be some sort of a representative) not only the sex of their newborn child, but also the name:
“Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Everly Tatum, who was born on May 31 in London .. Sending love and light to Chan, Jenna and Ms. Everly!”
The name “Everly” goes along with what we have come to expect from celebrities as of late: It’s somewhat unique, but at the same time, it also feels relatively within the realm of normalcy. We’re sure she will grow up someday reasonably happy with her name, and not so much feeling like an outcast that has some sort of name that was given to her out of novelty (we are looking at you Jason Lee.)
As for what Dewan-Tatum’s future is with the Ryan Murphy horror franchise, her being a new mom likely keeps her from doing anything for at least the first half or so of the upcoming season. It’s possible that she could sign for a guest spot near the end of the season (given that the showrunner does like to use familiar actors), but we would also not be surprised if she merely held off until next season.
