We have seen Castle put his life on the line many times for Beckett and even willing to die with her in “Still”. I have never seen that type of commitment from Beckett. It always seems she is committed until something better comes along, “job in DC” then she is ready to throw him under the Bus. Is she in this relationship or not. I think it is time we saw a 100% commitment, from Beckett to Castle, in some form.

I love Lanie, I think she’s a great, real, hilarious and strong female character and I would love to see more of her. Maybe we’ll find out why Lanie hates her mom, whether she has any siblings, why she became a M.E., etc.

I would also love to see a Beckett-Lanie centered episode, because I also really love the friendship between Lanie and Beckett. It would be cool to see Castle and Espo and ,of course, Ryan and Gates scramble to get Lanie and Beckett back, if they’re kidnapped or something when Beckett is at the morgue with Lanie, while seeing more of Beckett and Lanie’s relationship. I would love to see them talk about their respective relationships with Castle and Espo. We haven’t really seen Lanie open up about her past or her relationship with Espo so it would be cool to see Kate try to grill her when they’re in a room together for a long period of time while Lanie does the same to her. Maybe we’lll find out why Lanie is just as afraid to commit to Espo as Kate is to commit to Castle.
