Producer Kevin Williamson has given fans a taste of what’s to come on season three of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and what we can expect to see from Steven R. McQueen’s character of Jeremy as well as some details about future story lines.
Kevin spoke about what we can expect to see during the first half of the season. He said;
“In the first half of the season, I think we’re going to really enjoy Klaus (Joseph Morgan), and him being not only an Original, but the child of the Original Family. Now, he’s a hybrid and he’s lifted the curse. It will be watching what he does. He has a whole plan behind it all, and Stefan (Paul Wesley) is part of that plan. He sets his plan in motion in the very first episode, and we play that out for a while.”
The character of Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) had been seeing ghosts and fans were wondering if that was going to affect his mental state. Kevin explained;
“The thing with Jeremy is that, when we started the show, he was dealing with the [passing] of his parents and he was on the wrong track. It will be interesting to see how he responds to seeing [people who have passed] and what that means. The first six episodes really do dive into trying to understand what’s going on with him. He [passed away] for an hour, and something happened in that hour that has allowed him to see these [people who have passed]. And, what are they, actually? Are they ghosts? Ghosts haunt you either for revenge, or because they love you or are trying to come to peace with you, or they’re trying to warn you or tell you something. He’s got to figure out exactly what is going on and what they’re going to try to tell him.”
‘The Vampire Diaries’ returns to the CW on September 15 and you will be able to catch up with all your favorite characters.
