Justin Bieber released a remix of Drakes hit song ‘Trust Issues’ over the weekend and everyone was wondering if he was going to keep some of the explicit lyrics in the song.
Justin decided to keep it clean, which was probably the right choice for the singer at this point in his career, but rapper Drake was disappointed that Bieber didn’t keep it unedited. Drake explains;
“I wish he would’ve left all the cuss words in it. I feel like that would’ve been so G, if he would’ve done all the swearing. I was excited when I heard he remixed it, because there was like a gang of swearing in that song. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re about to hear the transformation of Bieber.’ “
Bieber doesn’t condone drinking or being derogatory towards women so he changed up some of the lyrics in the song to fit his own personal beliefs, which is exactly what fans would want to see from Justin.
Drake did remark that Justin is talented and that he is pretty excited about the remake of his song. Drake said;
“He’s like a talented kid … from Canada, so to hear him even remix that song is crazy,” he said. “That’s incredible.”
Would you have wanted to hear Bieber leave in all of the profanity in the remix? Are you happy that Justin decided to leave it out? Leave us a comment and tell us what you think. You can listen to Justin singing “Trust Issues” below.
