Now, admittedly, I have only seen Orphan Black and Homeland in their entirety, so I cannot judge the acting of the other four, but here’s how I see it: Danes is practically unstoppable these days, and I suspect she would be a clear choice over Farmiga, Margulies, Moss, and Russell based on performances alone (otherwise she wouldn’t be projected to win by so many people, regardless of undeserved hype or previous wins by Homeland). Still, Maslany blows her out of the water, and by far deserves the win.

Besides, we all know Maslany probably won’t get the Emmy or Golden Globe nominations based on the whole sci-fi show BS (and then those will go to Danes), so give her the accolades whenever freaking possible!
