They dressed her like a tart and made her sing to a karioke orchestra failing to understand the jazz/soul style Alice uses. Alice can be up there with Sinatra, Ella, Aretha Billie etc. But those sort of artists bend pitch, drag out tempo and interpret a song. In these cases it is up to the accompanist to follow the singer. Not the other way round!!! I hurt for Alice She was fighting a pre recorded orchestra who at time drowned out her voice. Disgraceful. If they can pay for dancers and stuff they might at least have provided a sympatheic jazz/soul trio to accompany Alice. Shame on you Simon Cowell
