Just around a year and a half ago, these two people had no idea the other existed, and thus went about their lives trying to meet their one true love. Then, “The Bachelorette” happened, and the two got engaged at breakneck speeds thanks to a romantic journey that made it genuinely look as though these two had a chance to break away from the romantic pitfalls that have doomed so many other people in the past on the show.
Unfortunately, it was just not meant to be for these two and they split months after the show finished airing. Although the communication lines were still open between them for a while, Jef made it pretty clear in a recent chat with Us Weekly that the two are almost back to where they were before the show – not part of each others lives:
“We haven’t talked in the past few months. Last time we talked, things were in good spirits … I hope the best for her. She’s an amazing girl. She’s just not the person I’m gonna spend the rest of my life with. I think she’ll make somebody happy.”
As for the state of his own personal life, Jef said that he is currently “dating around and hanging out and having a blast. . . I’m not dating anyone in specific. I’m just having fun right now. Life’s good!” He also shot down any talk of him being the next “Bachelor” following Sean Lowe, but we’re not exactly sure such “talk” ever really existed in the first place as much as women everywhere would love to see Jef in that position.
On Monday night, the journey of “The Bachelorette” begins all over again with Desiree Hartsock as the leading lady. Want to know more? Then just head over to the link here, where you can see the official trailer for the show.
