‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: A returning character in the premiere

SuitsDo you want to know what’s nice about a show like “Suits”? Outside of Patrick J. Adams, Gabriel Macht, the entire cast, the writers, the directors, the men’s fashion, and … okay, we could go with this for a while. What we are really trying to get to here is that the show has done a rather adept job at creating a fun little playground for itself, and then allowing a license to invite certain people to comes back to play on occasion, even if they’ve been gone for a while.

What we want to propose to you now is a little bit of a guessing game. We’ve caught word that at least one character from the show’s first season will be resurfacing during the premiere, and it should provide for a few good beats with some of the characters. Notice the key word here “at least.” Since so much of this show is about the surprise and the feeling of “oh…” when you see something happen, we don’t want to say any more than that.

“Suits” season 3 kicks off on July 16, and while this wait may seem tiresome to hear some more words out of Mike and Harvey’s mouth, it will be worth it. Here’s a bonus treat for some of you who missed out on this a couple of weeks ago: A teaser announcing the show’s night change that features Mike and Harvey ogling a picture of Piper Perabo’s “Cover Affairs” character of Annie Walker. Is it weird to hear two lawyers talk about what feels like more of a spy mission? Sure, but it’s also hilarious. Plus, we’re sure that Rachel would be none too pleased to hear what the alternate-universe Mike is saying here after their angry-love scene in the season 2 finale.

There is some more crazy “Suits” scoop out there for those who haven’t heard it. Take, for example, the news about Harvey’s dad turning up in a flashback scene. Go put on some Justin Timberlake (who must feel happy that he created what should be the show’s new theme song), and pay a visit to the link here.
