Guy Ritchie had his doubts about ‘Sherlock Holmes’ film

Guy is confident about the sequel

When Guy Ritchie first heard about the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ movie, he had his doubts that the film could work with actors Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. taking on the lead roles.

Although Ritchie had his doubts about Law and Downey, he is now so confident in their acting abilities and on screen chemistry that he has agreed to take the director’s chair for the sequel ‘A Game of Shadows’.  Guy said;

“I think we’re more confident that we were on the last one. I certainly feel that. I feel certainly more confident that these two can act, which I was [expletive] dubious about the first time round! I think we hit the ground running on this one. But we knew what we were doing.”

Law revealed that during the first ‘Sherlock Holmes’ film there was a lot of ‘dancing around’ with his co-stars as they tried to figure each other out.  Jude said;

“Although we immediately got on, there was a certain amount of dancing around, working each other out. This time it was, ‘Great, let’s go.’”
