I agree with you that Kellie and Derek should win it, but not everyone that deserves to win does due to who has the biggest fan base. Zendaya has a tremendous following, but I’m not sure how many of her teen/tween fans are watching DWTS and voting. I think it will come down to whoever has the strongest fan base that is voting…so yes even Jacoby or Aly could pull it off. What I think is great about this season is that although all of them are trying to do their best to get that mirror ball, they are all equally supportive and pull for each other. Its like Kellie said in an interview, “Yes we all want to win, but it won’t kill us if we don’t. We’re all having fun.” Good attitude about it, I think.

In reply to Lisa Sullivan Edwards. Zendaya is the most skilled dancer, most entertaining dancer, and she has the "it" factor. She'll win, and rightfully so. All the encore dances that have been left up to the fan-base, not the judges, have been of Zendaya and Val. Including the team dance, where her team was clearly the weaker of the two. She was named "Prom Queen" etc etc. Perhaps people don't quite see it yet, but everyone else in this competition is just playing for second place.

I think people are selling Zendaya a little short here. I understand her not being known outside of her demographic, but she has more fans than someone like Sabrina ever did just by the virtue of the fact she’s a Disney lead and she’s one of their current stars. She’s on the rise versus many of the Disney stars we’ve had on this show who were on their way out and kind of struggling for their next gig. I’d also argue Zendaya/Val have turned in consistently more entertaining routines than both Kellie and Aly. If she was marked down, like last week for instance, it had nothing to do with the quality of her dance but the storyline of the show. Even if Kellie wins, I’d argue Zendaya’s routines are the ones that many will be rewatching on youtube when all is said and done.
