Producers want the “Big Brother” house to stay as dramatic as possible — so isn’t it pretty much a given that they would design a Power of Veto challenge for someone specific to win?
(Warning: the following contains spoilers.)
In what is being called a “duo do-over,” it looks as though the remaining six houseguests all went through a challenge that was strikingly similar to the first challenge of the season involving a banana. As we all know, Rachel ended up winning that challenge the first time — which of course makes it no surprise at all that she ended up winning again.
This move really just cements some of the mistake that Porsche has made as Head of Household. If it wasn’t for her decision to open Pandora’s Box, Jordan would be going home on Thursday — but since that move forced everyone to play as duos for the week, now Adam and Shelly are going to go up on the block by default. It’s unclear as to whether or not Porsche got to pick the duos herself, but if so this was another mistake. While Adam and Shelly may not have liked getting paired with Jordan and Rachel, it would have guaranteed that one of them ends up going home.
Are you surprised at all that Rachel won the Veto all things considered?
