Maroon 5’s Adam Levine lashes out at 2011 MTV VMA’s

Adam Levine on the attack

Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine has always said what’s on his mind, but his latest rant targeted towards the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards is a little odd as he was a winner of back in 2004.

Although the band has won in the past, Adam feels pretty strongly about MTV’s intentions behind the awards show.  Adam posted a message about the VMA’s on his Twitter, saying;

“The VMA’s. one day a year when MTV pretends to still care about music. I’m drawing a line in the sand. [expletive] you VMA’s”

MTV responded to Adam’s attack on the awards show and they said;

“Soooo you’ll be tuning in at 9/8C tomorrow right? (BTW, bonus points if you TwitPic your 2004 Moonman!)”

Adam Late posted;

“Still waiting to have my “jerry macguire mission statement moment of deep regret…” not happening. phew! i may be a pop singer. but every once in a while the angsty teenager in me just blurts out some raw honesty. it’s a reflex.”

So if you were hoping to see Adam at the MTV VMA’s singing his latest hit ‘Moves Like Jagger’, better think again.
